Mrs Cindy Cristina Klinger operates a fruit stand. She needs an umbrella and a fryer for her stand and funds to buy more fruit to sell.

The commercial umbrella will allow her to expand her hours and days of operation by no longer being "rained out". With a fryer she will be able to add new offerings to her customers. And with funds to buy more fruit to sell she will be able to give her customers more choices of both fresh and prepared fruit.

Cindy - 22 years old - and her son and mother live together in the Calimio Decepaz neighborhood of Cali. Cindy learned preparation and sales of fruit, salads and related items from a very young age. She remembers working her first job in this business at the age of 5.

Since starting her own food business she has been supporting her three person family. Her stand is located in the walking path along the main street of her neighborhood. She has developed a strong following.

Cindy recently joined the cooperative Coomostaza. The business growth plan that they have helped her develop projects an increase of 13% from the addition of an umbrella and fryer.
