In her own words: "I have three children and I live with my parents in Kakata. The father of the children lives in Monrovia and does very little to support the children. This is because he and I have a long standing confusion and so nearly everything relating to the upbringing of the children including myself depends on my parents."

"Prior to joining the YMCA program, I had no knowledge in tailoring. I decided to take advantage of the YMCA skills training program so as to build my capacity for the future. I successfully completed the nin months of training and also participated in the business management and life skill training whic set me on the right footing to begin my own business. I am staying at my trainer's place making use of the sewing machine I received. This is because aI have good relationship with him and he committed himself to helping to guided me in my undertaking especially the cutting aspect of tailoring."

"I am proud to say that with or without child support from my children's father, I can make things better for my children and me."

"My vision is to see myself in my shop in the not too distant future. I pray that YMCA and its partners will continue to b e the window of opportunity for the less fortunate." Zoegbo
